We enjoyed our stay. The staff was very kind. The facility is clean and the bed is comfortable. The pillows are small, but there are 5 on the bed, so it works out. If you have food allergies - such as dairy, the breakfast will not be available to you.

I can only read a one star rating because when looking up hotels for Jackson Hole, Wyoming, this hotel 20 hours away came up. We asked for a refund and they did not oblige.

Beautiful place. Designed for customer's appeal. However, the shower was dangerous. Slippery as all heck with no grab bars.

Breakfast wad included and had several choices. Mo phone in room or information about the property such as pool, fitness center, hours for breakfast.

I travel to So. Illinois annually to visit but this is my first stay at the Makanda Inn. It will not be my last. I had a very peaceful stay- after long days of family visit and running around with the grands, it was so nice to stay here where it was quiet and relaxing. Breakfast every morning was top notch and just the right portions.

Room was clean staff was very helpful and the French toast was delicious.
