Super cute pod style hotel. Very quiet and low-key setting. During the off-season be prepared to drive out of town for dining, or the kitchen is well stocked to stay in and cook. Good internet connection and the fireplace was amazing on a rainy day.

This place was in the middle of the northern part of island. From here we explored 3/4 of the island in 2 days with a rental car. It was easy for an american to drive. I suggest an automatic. The room was spacious, the beds comfortable, staff was excellent to deal with and the breakfast had many great options. Location was centrally located and close to the harbor and near the airport. I highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic hotel. Great location for walking to the harbor and shopping and restaurants, friendly staff, beautiful decor, and excellent breakfasts. Note that no cars are allowed on street where they are located, but there is parking nearby.

Hotel Do Colégio
The staff were wonderful and were able to accommodate us into our room early. The location is in the center of historic city centre and walking distance to most city attractions. The breakfast buffet was small but had most items needed to give a good start for the day.

Bright, clean, affordable, lovely pool, breakfast is included with the room, parking is available right outside the hotel at about .50/hour. ($20 US overnight) - rough estimate. Parking on the street is SUPER limited and the streets are SUPER tight.
