Sheets had stains, room was very out dated but was ok for a night to get some sleep… A/C worked well

The staff was very good. Friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple. Waffles and cereal and microwave biscuits. The rooms were garage sale retro. Worn out chairs with no room mini fridge. A/c was too warm and it shut off. Alot. Sixty six degrees was the lowest temp on the unit,, but it never made it there. Broken tiles in the room entry. And someone ran down the hall banging on room doors at 1 am. Not a great experience.

It was close to restaurants, shopping

We absolutely loved our stay here. We were just passing through and this was an unexpected little gem. Had no idea that is the hometown to author Larry McMurtry (Lonesome Dove). The decor is super cool and beds were so comfortable. Check in was a breeze and the owners are very friendly. The diner across the street was great for breakfast. Would absolutely stay here again if we were close.
