This is not a hotel. It's a motel. I chose a handicap accessible room, because I wanted as many safety rails as possible in the bathroom. (i'm in my 70's and have cancer and other health issues.) (This was a one night stay) The room wasn't very clean. The soap scum in the tub/shower was bad. But the worst thing was that at 9:15 pm my smoke alarm went off. (there was absolutely no smoke, and I have never smoked in my life) It would not go off. I thought the motel must be on fire somewhere. It was not. I had to go get the guy from the front desk. He came and tried to reset the smoke alarm. He finally had to pull out the battery and I went the rest of the night without a working smoke alarm. I do not recommend this motel.

Beautiful hotel in a historic building. Gorgeous styling and very comfortable rooms. The staff was polite, helpful, and professional. We are excited to go back when the cafe and restaurant next door are complete. Would definitely recommend!

Location, style and decor.

Marvelous place. Location is amazing (many beautiful trails) and the hotel has a lot of charm. Great for adults and kids.

The manager was friendly and walked me to my room. The property grounds were clean and quiet. I would stay there again.

Great location and easy to get to off of 81. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was as expected and crowded. Need some clean up around the outside.
