Checking in I was hardly spoken to. Garbage piled up outside the north entrance door. I found used nicotine pouch on the nightstand. Chips or some type of food beside the one bed.

Very friendly and clean. Historical.

This front desk gal was just getting off and switching with someone else when we arrived. She was on the snottier side. We went through a third party for rental and requested to have joints rooms with the person on duty that day. She said she would make a note on record. She didn’t and they had us on two separate floors. This lady made some comment about not going through third parties and going through hotel itself as it’s cheaper. No it isn’t! The next morning, my daughter asked if they could open the pool as it was time and the same lady seemed short with her since it was so early. The drain in the bathroom tub didn’t drain so showering wasn’t fun! The hallways smelled yucky. I stayed at this hotel a few years before this and it was very nice. Not the case anymore.

We had a great stay! Breakfast was great every morning and the pool was really great for both little kids and swimming a few laps. Our room was huge and we had plenty of space to spread out. We also did laundry here, which was really convenient! The hotel was clean, but our hallway had a really strong smell of Mexican food. The smell even came in through our air conditioner. The staff was helpful and nice, but there is only a person at the desk at check in time. The rest of our stay, we needed to call from the front desk for someone to help us. Overall, it was a good value for the money and we would stay here again!
