It was a great vacation

Great location!

The check in was fast and smooth. The room was clean, and the A/C blew cold. The staff was pleasant and the price I paid for the room was great.

To start off, we booked a king suite. What we got was a queen double suite. Not happy about that at all. Said they couldn’t do anything even though when booked there were supposed to be 5 available. The carpet was dirty, didn’t feel we could take our shoes off. The shower was nasty and pressure was horrible. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Did not eat breakfast there so can’t comment. We stay at Holiday Inn Express when in Berea KY without any issues. Why can’t they all be like this? Said they would reach out to us the next day but didn’t…..

The room was very nice. Unfortunately, when I called to let them know, I would only be staying for the second night of my reservation the person I spoke to said that was not a problem and I arrived and was told that my reservation was canceled because it was a third-party reservation and then I did not have a room. They fortunately had one available. Unfortunately, it was the one next to the laundry shoot and it’s 7 AM. They started slamming the door of the laundry shoot repeatedly as they clean the rooms. In addition they were doing maintenance in the room below me and the power drill was running most of the morning.

My family and I enjoyed our stay, immensely. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfy with nice pillows. We all had a restful nights sleep. Had breakfast in the morning and went about our day. The staff is wonderful; they are professional, friendly, accommodating and they smile. The breakfast was good enough to keep a person going throughout the day. My grandsons also enjoyed swimming in the pool and lounging in the room. Parking was good and we were able to get up front parking as we came and went throughout our time there. All in all it was a great time for us. I would definitely recommend this hotel, it’s affordable and the coffee is really good.
