Stonewall Vacation Packages

Excellent location, spacious rooms, and a great room layout. Unfortunately, calling this a luxury property is a stretch. The bathtub was peeling, the walls were damaged, and the property generally showed its age. We also had to call for basic items like an ironing board and extra linens. I’m sure some guests love the hotel’s “signature” scent, but it was incredibly overpowering our first night. It gave me a terrible headache, and there was no escaping it. And while I realize daily amenity fees are becoming increasingly common, charging one for a property with a tiny, poorly maintained pool and a gym we won’t use feels particularly unjustified. Especially after paying $60+ fees each day for parking. It’s a surefire way to put the final nail in the we’ll-never-stay-here-again coffin. Great location, but the condition of the property and the nickel-and-diming make it difficult to recommend.

Great location and clean

.

Super cute individual little cottages. Cute inside and out. Bed was too soft for my taste, but nice. Small bathroom with good amenities tho

This was a last minute choice due to our original trip being affected by the Hurricane. It was a great pick. The hotel is so cute. The food surprisingly yummy. Grounds are well kept. You get 10 percent off float fees with Paddle Texas on property and easy access to both the Comal and Guadalupe. Favorite hotel memory is having coffee on the elevated deck facing the pool and the river. Fabulous location 10 minutes from all the great stuff in Gruene.Close to many dining options.Nice staff.

The staff was very friendly, and the property is very close to the Riverwalk and the Alamo. What a beautiful hotel! I wish i had a chance to eat at Anacacho because breakfast at the Gallery was great, and the coffee was strong!
