Great staff, excellent air conditioner, quiet hotel

Clean and reasonably priced. Great location!

Our check-in process went smoothly, and the employee on duty was quite friendly. Upon entry, the room seemed clean, although it was obviously dated. Our stay was going fine until it was time to go to bed. Shortly after turning off the lights to sleep I began having areas that were itching. In the moment, I thought it might be an allergy to the detergent used on the sheets, but unfortunately woke up in the morning with bug bites all over my neck, shoulders, chest, arms, and hands. I had anywhere from 25 to 30 bites that swelled and blistered. Upon trying to contact the property, the person on duty was friendly and concerned with answering the phone, but after multiple phone calls ownership never followed up with me. I was able to get a partial refund through my booking agency, but I’m still extremely disappointed that the owner did not make any effort to reach out to me. My main concern was that nobody else would have to deal with this in the future, but given their lack of follow-through, in returning my calls. I’m concerned about their follow-through on dealing with the bug issue. Obviously, I will not be returning to this hotel.

A very well run, and kept up hotel.

The guy running the front desk at the time of my check in was probably the most helpful and efficient hotel employee I've ever met, and we travel a decent amount. Check in was extremely quick, with polite conversation. And later when we needed some extra bedding, he all but ran to get it for me ASAP. Hotel room was clean, AC worked well and noise wasn't a problem even though we were right by the pool area. Breakfast was ok, it was a bit crowded and not the most options ever, but also far from the worst. We were also there at the tail end of it so maybe that made a difference. Pool was decent, if not a bit crowded that night, but they had some toys for the kids in there which is always a nice touch. Hot tub was less than ideal. The first night, the jets would not work as the knob on the timer appeared to have broken off. The next morning when we went to swim, the jets were running but the tub wasn't hot at all like the night before. Maybe it just gets shut off at night and hadn't warmed up yet? Either way, that was kind of a bust. Overall, for the price and what you get, I would not hesitate to stay there again if we find ourselves in the area!

My apologies for the lengthy post. I must start off by saying, we are VERY easy to please & had a six-night stay. Let's start with the positives: Breakfast: pretty good! Much better than we expected 👏 👏👏 Staff: VERY nice and so helpful!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Now the not so positives: *We had 2 furbabies with us. Their policy indicated there would be a $75 fee for the length of the stay...they double charged us. When called to their attention, they found the problem and stated they took the charges off. I have yet to see that credit come thru *The pool was so cold, my grand babies could only stay in for a short while. We had planned for the pool to be something they could have fun with 🙁. *The hot tub/spa was out of order *The ice machine on the first floor remained out of order for the entire length of our stay *The room smelled bad, carpet was damp and filthy. The A/C was just ok *Never made the beds or changed the sheets *Trash was taken out 1 time. We set our cans out for them to be emptied a 2nd time. (Maybe because we had pets in the room 🤷🏼‍♀️) *Clean towels were provided...when we ASKED for them *Power outage 6th morning. Knocked out power to our bathroom & A/C. No fault of the hotel BUT our A/C was HOT...had to be reset *The grounds...PITIFUL!!! Appeared to be mowed but was in desperate need of flower beds being taken care of. Had ZERO curb appeal. Looked "dumpy" at best *WAYYYY overpriced for what we received *WILL NOT stay here again, nor do we recommend you staying
