The staff were exceptionally nice. The room was clean. Plenty 9f parking. Breakfast was good. But the evening meals were expensive and not as good as I would expect given how much they cost. We had our last meal there and as I'm a vegetarian, I'm limited anyway. They could not adjust I was told as the meals came ready made - so microwave food for £15 to £20. I ended up getting soup.

Stunning location, hotel and staff. Lots of stairs and a long walk to the rooms if you have any mobility challenges but otherwise really lovely.

The Ambassador Hotel is beautiful and the staff was extremely friendly and professional! The hotel is in a lovely locations, the rooms are all unique and have lovely views, comfortable beds, and luxury bedding. The restaurant is top notch!!!

Conveniently located to train station

Excellent slightly out of town Best Western, everything appeared to be in place and I had a good night's stay. Hotel is on a bus route and very near Stepps station for onward travel should you not come by car. There seemed to be a lot of parking available otherwise. There's a cafe and pub in the nearby village. Overall I'd stay here again.

Had a nice stay with family, easy to make changes to bookings. Only fault was observing a waiter carrying burgers on a tray outside, they were not covered! Health and safety loads of flies about, breakfast good, plenty of choice. The young waitress had excellent customer service.

Be aware of additional charges for spa and parking

The ground are beautiful the hotel is dated rooms are over looked by other rooms and there are no net curtains or similar so if you want privacy you have to close the thick curtains and have Yr lights on in the say time not ideal. Not many plug sockets in the room so you have to choose between having lights at your bed side or charging your phone. Lots of phone sockets but no phone to phone front desk or housekeeping as suggested by info in the room. Bedroom door did not lock and walls very thin woken by people in the corridors. The hot water in the bathroom very hot no warning of how quickly it gets hot
