I rarely leave reviews, but this place was hard to figure out so doing it for those who are confused by the review whiplash on this one. I have travelled all over the world and stayed in many humble hotels, so part of me dismissed the more challenging reviews. Here’s my honest one. Pros: The staff at the hotel are helpful, kind and clearly doing their best with what they have. Cons: Desperately needs capital investment - crumbling exterior metalwork held together with wood, threadbare carpet, worn paint everywhere, and black mold in the room. How could such a one time stunning building with world class views and a fantastic staff be worn to threads? It’s owned by a Singaporean holding company that should take a closer look at the state of their investment.

It is so homely and the starter pack makes it even better. You feel comfort as soon as you enter the studio. The shops are a few minutes walk. The staff were super friendly. I will definately be booking with them again
