Wonderful location and exceptional standard of accommodation with lovely owners

We were a bit disappointed this time, as the boiler was not working. The bathroom floor was dirty, lamp shades to. The cooker was greasy and the flames were yellow. We didn't get any shower gel or shampoo . By from that we had a lovely "getting sunburnt

Charming hotel in the centre of Louth. Really attentive staff, nice sized rooms and lovely breakfast in the morning.

We booked a double room but were not told it was a disability access room. We were right next to the entry access door which banged open shut all night with other guests so hardly slept. Also the sink was small & far too low to use easily. The room decor & furniture was very low quality for such a beautiful building & the complementary tea etc & shampoo was very basic. This was not a cheap hotel & we were hoping for a beautiful room like the pictures but instead were left very disappointed.

The ground floor single ensuite room was a bit cold but I was provided with an electric heater. This helped matters. The proprietor was helpful and polite. The breakfast was nice.
