Nice resort with spa, tennis and golfing

It was a great place to stay it was the second time I have stayed there and I will be back

Great for a family stop on a road trip. Very clean, the pool is in great shape, would stay again! 3 kids from 9-14.

Nice casino, great eats and sports bars, clean rooms

Although I thought very highly of the staff this hotel was in the midst of being remodeled. It’s an older facility and I was asked to join their rewards program on line prior to check in providing all my information and was kicked off at least 5 times before they accepted the info. I then received at least ten repeat emails and texts about being a member which I was forced to do in order to receive internet connection. The light breakfast was disappointing also. We won’t use Microtel again.

I stay here every few months to visit my family, I've stayed here for years because it's convenient. Tony (Toni?) has been here forever at the front desk and I'm always happy to see her. She's always friendly, helpful, and available. There was a tall gentleman with long braids and another lady (who had just moved?) who were also friendly and helpful. But sometimes, a front desk person would put a sign that said "Be back shortly" who seemed to be gone a lot, and the lobby/front desk area reeked of pot. Several of us were waiting to check in, and we had to flag down a cleaning person to track down the front desk person. When I was leaving for dinner, I saw other people standing around, unhappy that there was no one to check them in. I understand if you're short staffed, but you need to put a bell or phone /text number to reach someone when you leave so you can come back and check people in. Breakfast was decent. Rooms on the north side are extremely noisy with the highway next to the hotel. Add sound insulation or even small white noise machines. I had to crank up the AC/fan to the max to help drown out the noise. There was trash every morning in the parking lot, maybe from people who walk up and down 51st. I'm not sure, but I gathered up some trash each day to throw away. I hope management can address some of these issues b/c I prefer staying here rather than looking for other options in the future.
