This is my go to hotel when I come Jackson for a visit. It is convenient to downtown Jackson and my daughter’s college. Front Desk clerk was friendly and helpful. My room was clean and I slept like a baby at night.

The Ladies at the desk were friendly rhonda in the breakfast room was wonderful.the room smelled like cat pee the area was suspect I book a room here because it had a pool the pool wasn't open and looked like it hadn't been open in a while there was a a chicken bone on the floor outside our room 3 days. Not worth the money 1st and last stay here

The hotel was nice. Only sleep and took a shower to catch a flight. The problem is that the rooms are not updated. You pay for a king suite, but there are plates, utensils, papertowels, nothing. Additionally, there are no outlets. Please bring an extension cord and depending on the electronic devices you have, bring what you need to charge them.

I arrived and was looking forward to eating at the steakhouse. It is only open Friday and Saturday. They only had a cafe for dining and the experience was terrible. Its a large sit down restaurant but they are operating it as a take out stand. You order at the hostess stand and get a beeper. When the food is ready your beeper goes off and you have to walk to the back of this restaurant to stand in line to show your receipt and get your food. It all comes in styrofoam containers and plastic bags. They will give you plastic utensils if you want to eat there. Its a shame that that is the only dining option during the week and they arent operating the space as a cafe. The menu was full of mostly sandwiches and fried options. There are not sides listed on the menu. I asked the cashier what sides come with the meatloaf and she said I don't know, I haven't worked her very long. No attempt to find out. This was my experience with everyone working there. I ordered taco salad and the meat was ok but it was basically a huge plate of nacho chips with ground beef on top and a handful of lettuce. I like this property overall for the price point but they need to overhaul this "cafe".
