Hotel was understaffed the night we stayed. We arrived at 7pm and waited about 10 min. for someone to come to the desk to check us in. After checking my reservation, they told me the room I booked had not been cleaned yet. They offered a regular King room (I booked a Deluxe King room) but said she could not change the price (perhaps because I had pre-paid). We hadn't had dinner yet, so I told her I was going to go to dinner and would be back in 2 hours. While we were at dinner a severe storm blew through the area and when I returned to the hotel and waited another 5 minutes for someone to show up, I was told that water from the storm had blown into several rooms through the air conditioning units and if my room was affected to call the desk and they would try to find another room for me. Fortunately my room was not affected. However I spoke to another guest the next morning that had to switch rooms and the room they were moved to had water in the air conditioning unit. On a positive note, my room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
