Winterton-on-Sea Vacation Packages

Poor points Advertised as affordable luxury but the place felt tatty inside. Chipped paint work, peeling and torn wall paper, torn curtains in the room. Torn side if divan bed and to small for mattress carpet stained and smelled. Broken shower, broken sink plug, No long mirror in room No hairdryer as advised in welcome pack. No way of locking the door on the inside as only electronic key card. Never anyone on reception Felt like an old care home Good points Close to everything Lovely cafe across the road The mattress was thick and comfy Good selection drinks and snacks in room Main door always locked and has to be entered by key card Was able to leave luggage there safely as we arrived early and went into town until checking in time

Great city centre location, excellent staff, very comfortable room.

Always a top place to stay when visiting Norwich, comfortable rooms, solid food and great staff.

Checked in late on my own with toddler. Receptionist was there and very helpful and friendly but when I got to the room I wanted more pillows to pad the edge of the bed so my daughter wouldn’t fall out. Called reception there was no answer. I do find it strange generally with hotels that for toddlers there is no safe sleeping arrangement but you have anti-slip mats for showers that people are told to use. Toddlers are too big for cots and too small to sleep in a bed without a guard rail.

The accommodation was lovely, clean and spacious. It was the perfect location and the access to the hot tub was a brilliant addition.

A street entrance would be a great help. I arrived at the station, disabled with a walking stick and luggage and had to walk all the way around to the back
