The staff was helpful and nice. The place was immaculately clean. The only complaint I have is there was no pool or jacuzzi. I know that was out of their control.

We booked Lumbermen's Village because of the 9.5/10 "Best Loved" rating on Hotels.com and the reviews praising its cleanliness. Unfortunately, our experience was nothing like that. Check-in took nearly an hour because there was no clear direction on where to go, and the process didn't match what was described online. While waiting, we sat in the restaurant area, which looked dirty enough to confirm we wouldn't eat there. The cabin looked fine at first, but the kitchenware was filthy. We found lipstick on glasses, stained dishes, and food stuck to utensils. We ended up buying disposable plates and silverware and I washed the dishes before using them. The sheets were heavily pilled and didn't feel clean, making it difficult to sleep. By the second night, we were so uncomfortable that we checked out a day early. We booked a kitchen to reheat meal-prepped food, but the microwave barely worked. One meal took nearly 9 minutes and still wasn't hot. The walls were very thin, and although the rooms are advertised as non-smoking, the guests next to us smoked marijuana. The smell came into our room through the adjoining window/vent. We didn't report these issues because check-in had already cost us nearly an hour, and we didn't want to spend our short vacation waiting for someone every time another problem came up. The "9.5/10 Best Loved" rating and cleanliness reviews were very misleading. We would not stay here again.
