Ballston Lake Vacation Packages

I stayed in a townhouse, an upgrade from the room I booked. It was quiet and private, which I enjoyed, and more room than I needed. If my family's schedule had been different, I could have invited them over for a cookout (they live nearby). The townhouse was rather dated and I am afraid a bit dreary, with a lot of browns and beiges. But well-outfitted and convenient.

Our weeklong trip meandering the roads of Vermont was made more memorable by our stay at the Brook Bound Inn! The property is gorgeous and impeccably maintained! Our room was clean and so quiet! The bed was comfortable, and the blackout window blinds allowed us to sleep a little later than normal. The bathroom was very clean with a large shower and great smelling body wash, shampoo, etc. Jake and Hope were so helpful before and during our stay. We also appreciated the robust WIFI. We didn’t try the amazing pool this time, but we will for sure on our next trip!

The room was reasonably clean and comfortable, and the location was fine. Unfortunately, the complete lack of communication and basic guest support made this a very disappointing stay. There is no front desk, and no Wi-Fi information was provided in the reservation details or in the room. I contacted the property three different ways: through Hotels.com messaging, by email, and by phone, where I left a voicemail. I never received a response through any of them, even by the following day. At a self-check-in property with no front desk, guests must have a reliable way to get assistance when something as basic as Wi-Fi access is missing. The accommodations themselves were acceptable, but this level of nonexistent customer service is unacceptable and significantly affected my stay. I’m glad I was there for only one night and not longer. I definitely will not stay here again. By the way, the attached photo shows the only thing left in the room: a worn envelope for tips. There was no guest information and no Wi-Fi information provided.

Old property with a lot of history.

Property has been renovated-it is very clean and modern. Nice simple breakfast served. Housekeeping didn’t show the 2nd day of our stay. ( we hunted them down for towels before getting ready for a wedding. They offered to come then- but it was too late in the day) Great views and quite location.
