We really enjoyed our stay at Baywatch Resort! The hotel, parking lot, and beach were all very clean, and our room was spotless. We didn't see any spiders inside the room, although there were quite a few on the balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They brought us extra towels when we asked and even an extra chair for the balcony. The shower water got really hot (not a complaint—I just wasn't expecting it!). The location is perfect. It's quiet, and you don't hear traffic, but downtown Traverse City is only about an 8-minute drive away. We were traveling with our 5-year-old, who is learning to swim, and we loved how shallow the water was. It made spending time at the beach so much more relaxing. The screen door to the balcony didn't slide perfectly, but it still did its job. We also noticed they groomed the beach both mornings we were there, which was nice. It did seem like the hotel next door's beach got a little more attention, but we still appreciated that ours was maintained too. We didn't eat the complimentary breakfast, but it looked really good every morning. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely come back!

Clean and easy check in. Might be good to get check in instructions earlier in day or day before. Better coffee. Materials on places to eat in Frankfort and things to do like the bicycle trail etc…
