The property itself is beautiful. Really cool artwork and decor. The hotel staff is very friendly as well. A few things that I would mention that aren’t necessarily “bad” but more heads up items 1. We couldn’t get the a/c cooler than 70 in the room regardless of what you set the temp to 2. We were given a room on the 2nd floor which is open to the lobby below. They play fairly loud music in the lobby which was audible in our room. This seems to only be a factor if you are on the 2nd floor though as all other floors are closed off 3. Although admittedly we did not have a do not disturb sign up, housekeeping was knocking on our door at 8:40am. Pretty surprised they start that early and if you are a later sleeper, definitely put up the tag

Great place, first impression I wasn’t sure if I was in the right place since it was booked for me. Beautiful building, built in the 1800s. Rooms are amazing. Since it is in downtown Milwaukee, it does get a little loud but it’s to be expected. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Instructions to find the Serenity apartments at Wauwatosa Wisconsin weren't great but once we found the actual apartment, it exceeded our expectations. It was truly a home away from home, as it was immaculately clean and had everything needed for a fuss free stay. Shops and restaurants witin walking distance. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely be returning for a longer extended stay!

Room was well cleaned, self control air conditioning, bathroom with small wall in shower, detachable hand held shower wand, staff professional, courteous, breakfast items available for purchase, well cleaned fitness center, pool area, outside court yard. Wonderful relaxed stay, I’m planning my next visit

Great location and onsite restaurant. Gym is good but would be better with additional amenities such as a sauna or a spa with that available. Housekeeping was poor - the undersheet on the duvet wasn’t even put back/straightened out after the cleaning. Towels felt like they were long overdue for a replacement. The server at the restaurant at breakfast was not the friendliest. I would definitely stay here again and hope these little details are ironed out.
