The Volare, an Ascend Collection Hotel
It’s centrally located in San Clemente and you can easily walk to nearby restaurants and shops. It’s an older property but rooms are renovated and clean. I was visiting family that lives nearby so i didn’t need a lot of amenities but it’s close to the freeway so you will hear some noise.

Comfort Suites San Clemente Beach
Staff was friendly but my room wasn’t very clean. WiFi didn’t work consistently, shower was subpar, AC unit was ungodly loud. Next time I’ll spend a few extra bucks and stay somewhere better.
