They were understaffed for sure but the people working were extremely helpful and tried to give us the best stay.

Very beautiful room. Clean, friendly staff. They are still renovating it, cant wait to see when it is fully done being renovated. Lake Michigan is literally across the street. Will definitely be staying again!

room stunk (girl from desk came up and told me if she sprayed i had to leave for an hour...at 9 pm), bed was warped at head sunk in feet normal, staff rude when checking in, breakfast was low options, air conditioner did not work. Then i complained they gave me 20.00 off of 180.00. never go there. A person at the local Casino asked where i was staying, when i said Travelodge in Escanaba, they said do you like it? I said omg NO. They said its known to be the worst place in town.

Very hard to navigate thru property as the addition is very far to the coffee shop and check in. Not ideal for person with w/c or walker. Rude distracted person at check in.
