There were stink bugs and the fridge did not work

Excellent inn, great service, beautiful facilities.

The Inn is a beautiful place to get away. The rooms and the grounds are lovely. The breakfast was beautifully set up and delicious. Our host, Shelley, was very accommodating. Highly recommend staying at Benn Conger Inn!

The grounds, bar and restaurant are beautiful, well staffed and maintained. Drinks were fantastic. The rooms and hallways are very dated.

We stayed for one night and wished we could have stayed longer. The property was beautiful, the room was spacious and well-maintained, and we loved the lounge area. We enjoyed delicious dinner and drinks after arriving on a rainy night and not wanting to get back out to go into town. We also sat by the cozy fire in the lobby before heading to bed. A perfect romantic getaway!

I really wanted to give this hotel a five-star rating. Unfortunately, I was assigned a room with a connecting door, and the young guys staying next door were extremely noisy, yelling and screaming on and off until 4:00 AM. When I first complained around 1:30 AM, the front desk kindly sent up earplugs and asked the guests next door to keep their voices down. Unfortunately, they didn’t seem to care, and the noise continued. At that point, I didn’t bother calling again. My only advice to future guests is to avoid connecting rooms whenever possible, as you never know who might be staying next door. It’s unfortunate that an otherwise pleasant stay was affected by inconsiderate neighbors. I appreciated the front desk’s efforts, but it was still a very disappointing night.

The location downtown & close to shopping, the lake, & the entrance to Watkins Glen gorge trail was outstanding. A QR code check in was not expected but the female employee working the creamery stepped up to help me with the process. There was no one working a front desk & no elevator. The parking spaces were extra small & cars parked over lines taking up 2 spaces. Young people were loud up until around 1am making sleep difficult. The room was clean & bed comfortable.
