The Roycroft Inn is unique and provides a respite place with history. The restaurant had excellent food that is part of the Inn. The Roycroft campus across the street is very interesting and worth a walk through and tour. The Inn has an incredible collection of arts and craft furniture in the main rooms as well as the sleeping rooms. Overall the property could use a refresh, new carpet and painting and a scrubbing. The bones of the places are great, but the interiors are tired.

I booked as I love to stay at old hotels. I was expecting more for the room price. Our room was tiny (the ceiling was higher than the depth/width). I had problems with certain channels on the TV (couldn't get Fox News until Tuesday night) and had problems with some web sites not loading. Also, for the price of the room, expected more high end amenities. No fridge in a room??? Budget hotels have them. And $25/ day??? Otherwise, its a beautiful property and was fun to stay in. I think you need to step it up a bit for what your charging.

The room was clean and there were plenty of towels. Not really updated but they are working on it. Friendly staff and they were very accommodating.

They didn’t clean the room for 2 consecutive days. They didn’t refill soap, shampoo, towels. The door keys didn’t work one day before to check out. I didn’t recommend, and Expedia checks your partner’s better
