Stayed in the Parkview Bldg.

Unique experience for someone who normally stays in national chain hotels. The room I stayed in was designed and named after a Vietnam veteran who has passed. This was a happy coincidence since I work with veterans at a VA hospital. Located in the small village of Groton, it was quiet and serene. Nice get away for city dwellers.

Kristen at the front desk was extremely helpful. Hotels.com booked the room and did not include my last name in the booking, only the letter Y. Kristen kept looking and researching for 30 minutes while we were standing there until she was able to identify it and booked us into the hotel. I will never use hotel.com again!!! TERRIBLE COMPANY The property and ground are beautiful and well maintained. Kristen upgraded our room without asking to the 15th floor on the corner and it was magnificent. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable and the shower was amazing. (the Grohe shower is listed on eBay for $1,200 and that’s the one that was in my room.) everyone was very friendly and helpful. We had dinner in Wildflowers, which was outstanding and exceptional and service was terrific! For breakfast we ate at the Emerald restaurant and had a delicious breakfast and great service. I would highly recommend this resort.

I booked a three bedroom suite that included 3 queen beds and a queen sofa bed. When we arrived, we received a two bedroom suite with two double beds and one king bed. We had 8 people in our group and this was not even enough to accommodate us. The person at the front desk stated a 3 bedroom means you get 3 beds. We left the hotel and had to go get different rooms elsewhere. They also charged us an extra $91 on top of the fees I already paid for extra people to be included in this room. When we found out that our room didn’t even have enough beds for everyone in our party, they would not even return the $91 that they just charged us at the front desk. When calling OYO customer Service support, they hung up on me. The advertising is ridiculous and an outright LIE!!! I can only imagine how many people they have scammed out of money. I WILL NEVER BOOK WITH OYO HOTELS AGAIN!

Effortless check in, clean room. Good parking. Good value. Close to dining and gas station.
