This was the Hilltop hotel which has come a long way since its heyday. The car park is good for a first impression but the broken hotel board on the building as you go to reception tells a different story. Carlisle Station Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by BW
A welcoming and helpful check-in at this stunning Victorian hotel right next to the train station and shops. The rooms were spotlessly clean and cosy with comfy beds, full of amenities. The staff were friendly. Thanks again! (also for storing my mountain bike) :)

Pinegrove Hotel
comfy bed, headboard falling off, hotel needs repainting as it is looking tired. clean room but noisy (can hear every movement in the room next to us). not the best breakfast, sausages particularly poor. ok if you just want a cheap room for an overnight stay.
