The bedsheets duvet cover were all dirty and smelly like it's not been washed the location was good but need to have clean bedsheets and duvet even when I asked for room cleaning they put the same bedsheets and duvet again, it can do better

had a fuss-free stay. location is within easy reach of amenities

Room was ready an hour early which was great after 24 hours of flying. Great surrounding areas for food and coffee. Room and bathroom was very clean and super quiet! Would absolutely stay here again. Great spot to still get around but not feel like you are super central. Staff was super friendly at check in. I recommend!

The room was a bit on the cold side but we were able to unpack all our belongings. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great Having the pub next to the hotel was convenient and you can’t beat the location

I can’t really complain, given the cost of this lodging and its proximity to everything. I was just disappointed so in the ambiance, or lack there of. The room and bathroom were clean, and the kitchen was accessible, with everything you would need to make a meal. I think there was just such a lost opportunity to build on the history of Edinburgh and the vibe of the Scottish people. Also, the karaoke bar (closing at 1am) being in the middle of the courtyard with the room windows overhead was not conducive to a good sleep.

Breakfast was great.
