The room was exceptional-spacious, clean and provided everything I could want! (We had a King suite.) The breakfast had a great variety and they even had a 24hr tea and coffee “bar” available in the lobby. The exterior property is a little run down. However I greatly appreciated knowing there is an ice cold, filtered water dispenser available in the exercise room!

Everything was clean and well maintained, and the staff was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately, we visited during an extreme heat wave, and the air conditioning struggled to keep up. Our first room would not cool below 75–76°F. Maintenance arrived promptly and made every effort to resolve the issue, but when it became clear it wasn’t improving, we requested a room change, which the hotel accommodated after having to go through a couple levels of customer service. The second room cooled to about 74°F but had a toilet that ran loudly every 20 minutes or so. By then, it was late enough that the sun was no longer beating through the windows, making the temperature more tolerable. While I normally keep my home’s thermostat set around 74°F, a hotel room with little natural airflow felt noticeably warmer and more humid. We had originally planned to explore the city and have dinner out, but after dealing with the room issues, we decided to order room service and spend the evening relaxing instead. Thankfully, the beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the room service was delicious, which helped end the day on a positive note.

The property and staff were wonderful however the pools are very small for the hotel size.

Beautifully restored old building, comfortable spacious rooms. Friendly staff. We booked one night then stayed for three. Great location a short walk to lots of restaurants. Complimentary on-site parking. We would not hesitate to return.

We've stayed here the past few years and have always enjoyed the hotel and the area around it. The staff is friendly and helpful; the rooms are spacious and clean and everything we want to do is within walking distance!

It was as expected and I was not disappointed

Disappointed that during our stay, the Bistro was closed both Saturday and Sunday evenings. We also had an issue with ants crawling around on the desk in our bedroom on the 4th floor. In addition, there was only a partial roll of toilet paper when we checked in, and it wasn’t replenished when the cleaning staff came on the second full day of our stay; so we had to get our own toilet paper and tissues from the front desk. This is the first hotel I’ve been to that doesn’t leave an extra roll of toilet paper in the room for the guests.

Clean room and the breakfast was hot and very good
