Mountain View and cozy vibes are on point.

We had dinner there and it was excellent. Breakfast was disappointing.

The location of the house was very near for food and supplies, yet very private. The inside was very clean and well kept. We enjoyed the quietness and surrounding grounds with views of local wild life. The things that we did not like was the musty - moldy smell when we first got there. Every time you used the water it smelled. Red light on fridge for changing filter. Bought spring water to use for drinking, coffee, and cooking. All reported to host upon departure.

We were quite confused about parking after 2 different front desk employees gave us different parking instructions. “Just park in the open lot…or…Park in the parking garage.” They neglected to tell us that WE pay to park, although the first employee seemed to suggest parking was included in the hotel price. We wasted a good 30 minutes trying to figure out the parking payment system for hotel guests, but finally chose the garage, now at a higher price due to dynamic event pricing with an event at the nearby Palace Theater that evening which we were attending. There was nobody around from the Albany Parking Authority to ask what to do although they had a number of their vehicles parked around the 2 lots. But no actual parking “ officers” to assist. Please clarify to those staying at your hotel. Other than that, we have no other complaints. It was a great place to stay, and very close to the Palace Theatre. But that parking situation needs to be clarified.
