Location is good, but that's it. Truly the worst hotel experience I've had. We were given room 123, which should never be sold... Smell was awful, upholstery was ripped, no windows (ot looked like it had originally been a room for staff to rest), beds were in two separate rooms with ceiling fans that had lights. Fans spun, but the lights in both rooms would not come on. That was enough to demand (nicely) a different room. There was no argument, as I'm sure they knew all about that room. The second room was a lot better, but still had a musty smell. The bathroom door was hard to close, and to wash your hands, you had to open the door, and go around the corner to the sink. Who designs a bathroom like that? Incredibly, a charge for $2.41 was added to my card - for a room upgrade? Who knows. Stay was one night, one week ago.

There was never any facility available!? When we arrived via GPS, could not contact anyone or see any evidence of a room and/or cabin for us to stay in? Phone posted on a door was not in service.

It wasn't okay Hotel our biggest complaint was their pillows were ginormically fat and hard so we all ended up with sore necks. I asked if they had any other pillows they said no they just suppose they remodeled and made this horrible choice for these pillows with no other choices. Decent hotels have at least some flatter or softer pillows as an option. Also the rooms were really dark the lighting was just not sufficient and felt dated

We arrived, we saw, we left. Don't waste your time... This place is a pit where vacation dreams go to die.

This place is old. The pool is shut down by the City. The room had some issues, but overall it was a bed to sleep in at a decent rate.

We chose this property because of the location and cost. It's clean with well worn furniture, things are a bit shabby but under new management. The beds were comfortable enough. We were there when the wildfire smoke came. During the first night we noticed a smoky smell in our room and awoke to extreme air quality issues. We had planned to go to Mackinac Island for the day but you couldn't walk outside without coughing. Actual ash was coating our car. We are retired and knew we could not tolerate these conditions outside. Everyone but this business allowed us to cancel and fully refunded us. We will return to the area to complete our trip but WILL NOT STAY HERE EVER AGAIN! The manager was rude and just shrugged his shoulders as "He can't control the weather." I informed him he should be able to control the air quality in the rooms and he responds with "You never asked to switch rooms." Let's be honest here, any other room was going to have the same type unit. We got our losses and left. No refund, no I'm sorry, no offer of any type of anything.

The room was clean, the view was beautiful from the balcony and the beds were comfy!
