Some rooms do not have a/c. They said we would have a portable a/c in the room to help with the heat. We did not have one, we talked to the front desk and kept getting the run around. Finally on the last day we were there the manager moved us to a new room with a/c.

This was our first time at the William and we will definitely be back. With all of the options available, I don’t recall the main reason why we chose this place, maybe it was the price, I don’t recall but I am so glad we did. The rooms we very spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also a nice size and very clean. The cleaning staff were very nice, helpful and polite. The most props go to the front desk staff, Ebony, KeKe and one other, her name escapes me. I’m sure, based on my experience, that they have been praised in the past. If not, shame on the guests for not recognizing them. They made us feel very welcome and comfortable. It felt like we were visiting family. There is a lot to be said about staying at a much smaller hotel. We never felt like we were in a small hotel and always felt welcomed and appreciated. This is a lovely hotel in the cool calm area of TriBeCa NYC. I’d come back no problems. Staff all engaging and helpful. Rooms very comfortable. One comment would be that there are building works going on at the moment and, as a light sleeper, the noisy works were a bit too early for us. But, I’d come back.
