Bad odour in room, widow was open wide in an obvious attempt to remove smell. Heater was off, so room was very cold, took a long time to warm up. Not sure why Best Western would rent a room in this condition!

External access-door unlocking system for the property was defective, front-desk clerk sent me to the farthern-most access door to get to my room even though my room could have been reached easily from the front desk (less than 50‘ away). Late-arriving large party of families was vey nois.
