Excellent location by the river and close to best restaurants in town. All fixtures in the Apartment were top quality. Whilst very clean, housekeeping was not the best. One day we were missed and problems with iron & TV but quickly resolved by Shaun, the on-site manager

Oh dear, another grand old dame that’s been allowed to rot. Get beyond the fabulous lobby area with its lovely staircase, and you are met by bedrooms and bathrooms that don’t seem to have changed in 50 years. Whilst Inverness is expensive, a price of £180 per night without breakfast is unforgivable, for this quality of accommodation. Suggest you look elsewhere.

Very splendid breakfast and very nice rooms. There are only 3 floors and no elevator .

The hotel is very tired once you get past reception bar and dining area which are OK. My room 325 was a single room a d was in a very sorry state for almost £100 a night. There was a dirty carpet illl fitting and very old curtains paint in the wall light shade and damp patches on 3 walls. Under the radiator in the room was visibly filthy. The hotel was very hot and the room was overheated even with the radiator switched off. Breakfast was good and it is a pity that the rooms are letting the potential of the hotel down.

Very tired building. No lift, zero atmosphere. Abandon hope all ye who enter. Breakfast 7 to 9. At 8.30, no croissants, pot porridge, one congealed fried egg, potato cakes dried to a crisp, sausage meat instead of a sausage. Truly appalling.
