I usually don't leave bad reviews but there was mold in the corner ceiling of the bathroom and looked like it was ganna fall in. The tv didn't work. The only good things was the room was cold.

Baton Rouge West Inn
Pool was not operational. The room and other amenities shown in pictures are different and below standards. There is no breakfast though they show in picture. Bathroom condition is below expectation. Overall its a average rating hotel.

The Myrtles Plantation
Room was beautiful, along with the property grounds. We had dinner at restaurant that is located on the property and it was amazing. We took the nighttime tour. The guide was fun and very knowledgeable of the history of the plantation and shared some really good stories. All in all, Myrtles has everything. ...

Room was somewhat clean, tv , phone and clock did not work. Hotel is going through renovations so maybe that will be corrected in the future. Hotel staff were excellent.
