The room was clean and the staff was helpful. I would have liked a little more variety in the continental breakfast. The only things I have to complain about the window in our room was stuck open so we heard everything outside and there were plastic bags over the fire safety devices in our room. Regardless of these 2 things I think I’d stay here again.

Every detail was considered at Lake Placid Stagecoach. Our suite was perfect, comfortable, spacious yet cozy. Kelly and team thought of everything. Also, the service, food and cocktails at the restaurant was so so good. Make sure to make reservations to secure your spot for a great dinner experience!

We had thought the hotel would be more elevated than it is (the marketing photos do not come close to telling the real story), especially for the price paid ($820 for three nights). The whole place was dirty and worn out. Old furniture, stretched out sheets that didn't stay on the bed (gross), broken air hockey table and pool, 2-3 available snacks in the vending machine, dog hair on furniture, an AC system with worn knobs (very difficult to change settings), cobwebs in various places - on the shower rod, in the lobby on the lamp, grimy and dirty under and behind surfaces. The outside looks drab, weeds everywhere. Staff was an okay level of friendly. We were glad for the clothes steamers (no iron boards). Breakfast options were "mid”, like you’d find in Motel 6 (basic toast w/ cold butter, juices, oatmeal packets, yogurt, micro pancakes). Breakfast is not open until 8am. No coffee put out until that time other than the keurig (which takes forever when there's several ppl waiting)? Before we booked, we read that “breakfast boxes” are available 7-8am. We requested one and the staff was very perplexed and then we were told that option had been cancelled months ago, but no offer to just offer us a few things that were already being set out?? How odd! If we hadn't just grabbed a couple bars ourselves, we would have basically gone without food for hours. Great location. I was envious of those who stayed at nearby properties who likely paid less than we did. What a scam.

I have passed by High Peaks Resort and have never stayed there. I was impressed with the property from the staff welcome, my room, the amenities, everything. It was a short but very pleasant stay. I will definitely be back.
