Very nice clean and quaint rooms.

Beautiful property, clean rooms, quiet area, and great breakfast.

The esthetic of the buildings and grounds are very pleasing at first glance. In reality it appears to be an old econo lodge type motel remodeled with mcm details, but the musty smell remains in the room. The shower curtain liner was stained. The staff was very nice and the restaurant gets very busy for dinner with both guests and locals. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but the menu was well planned. The property is not on the beach. There is a nature preserve across the street, about a 30 minute walk to get to the beach. There was no car access to the nature preserve during road work.

The room was basic but well maintained and I very much liked the bathroom layout with a sink area separate from shower and toilet. Different.

We checked in late and the room was nice and quiet, very clean. Although we did not use the pool, it was a very nice feature and was open 24 hours and had adult only hours. The view from the room had a slightly obstructed view of the lake, however, did not take away from the beauty at all. The private balcony was a nice future however, the lack of locks was a little concerning, although we were on the second floor. We had a very lovely breakfast which was included in the hotel rate and had many options both hot and cold. I look forward to booking here in the future.
