Room was somewhat clean. On our second evening the toilet clogged, we were told no one here to fix that till morning. Had to ask for second room. Breakfast was terrible, I know they never ate it. Bacon burnt, premade omelette were cold, and what they call gravy is like eating pepper paste. Won’t go back!

The room was cleaned so well that the bleach smell had to be aired out by opening the sliding glass door to the bay. The view was great. The sound proofing needs to be addressed. I could hear where the couple next door told each other that they put their pills and what glass they were going to use to drink from. A alarm went off in a surrounding room from 12am to 2:30am. I could follow along with the plot from the tv in another room. No guest was talking loudly. It was simply a case of no soundproofing which is necessary if you’re going to build a hotel. Hopefully as the owners continue to build they will retrofit the rooms with the necessary noise canceling materials.

Room was very clean staff was very nice

We only stayed one night as we were driving through Escanaba. Location worked well for our travel plans. A big plus was the nice Italian restaurant in the hotel so we didn't need to worry about find a place when arriving at 7pm. We asked to be seated in the bar area and was served by the bartender. She could not have been nicer letting us take our time after a long day of travel. A negative, however, was the poor offering from the hotel in the morning. They say they have "breakfast" but it was undrinkable coffee and granola bars. The restaurant offers a discount to hotel guests for breakfast so that's clearly what they expect you to do. Otherwise the room was clean and adequately large for a one-night stay.

Beautifully newly renovated room! The welcome note and story on how it was purchased, renovated and plans for new windows and doors was helpful. That will definitely help with road noise. Would definitely stay here again! ❤️
