such a gem! I had no idea what to expect but the EXPLORE over delivered! The evening reception, all day take away snacks & breakfast offerings were lovely. The room was well appointed - the bed was so comfy & the hotel was quiet. close to everything!

This stay was far better than I'd hoped. Room was spacious, carpets clean and while not brand new, very nice. Best bed I've slept on in a hotel or motel, including ones far more expensive. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The mini-store located on site was a huge help getting basic necessities. The continental breakfast is iffy -- juice was out while we were there, and pickings are somewhat slim -- but that's not why we stayed there. They do not make up your room while you are there, so be aware, but they resupplied us with towels and toilet paper on request. Not a ton of frills, but an inexpensive place that makes a great base of operations to explore the Upper Peninsula.

This is our 3rd year staying at the Ramada. This hotel checks all our boxes. Clean rooms with fridge and microwave. Pets are welcome. Staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel is located downtown so you can walk to the harbor, restaurants and bars.

It was a nice hotel. The pool area could use an update but it was good for what it is.
