I am not a complainer, by any means, but I cannot NOT post about our experience at this motel. We booked this motel at the last minute for a one-night stay in Saginaw this past weekend, based on price point and reading all the reviews online. The reviews were completely inaccurate. At check-in, the woman at the front desk was extremely rude; we apparently interrupted her by checking in (at 3:00 in the afternoon). We paid our $70 and got our key, and she waved us onto our room. We walked up the stairs, which were carpeted and filthy dirty. Arriving at our room, the paint and trim was literally hanging loose. When we opened the door to our room, we were shocked by the obvious lack of upkeep, and that is as kindly as I can say it. Again, holes/gapes in the walls were simply covered (somewhat) by a piece of painted drywall, trim was hanging from the ceiling, and the entire room and bathroom looked and smelled terrible. After less than 5 minutes, we left the room, walked past several people smoking pot on the balconies and a large group of people outside the lower level rooms who made us very uncomfortable, and turned in our key. My husband told the woman at the front desk we could not stay because it was so dirty. She argued that it was clean; rather than argue, we dropped off the key and left. This is why they have a big sign on the window stating "Absolutely no refunds" (which we did not receive). Consider yourself warned - this place is just disgusting!

We loved and enjoyed our stay! Everyone on the staff was really nice and very helpful! The property is beautiful! The rooms are awesome and beds are really comfortable too!

Hotel and rooms showing some wear especially the carpeting. Drains in bathroom sink and tub were very slow. Not enough parking spaces in parking lot for all guests; had to park out on the street one night. Daughters room had a musty smell and carpet looked dirty. Will probably stay at another place next time I am in town

The staff was helpful and friendly. Having said that, I think that the owners were saving costs by skimping on the cleaning staff and budget. The hotel was not well maintained, and is in need of a good deep clean.

It’s always a pleasure to stay here. I’ve noticed some furnishings are a bit nicked up & worn. Bedding is wonderful.
