Very nice clean modern hotel. Our room had a double bed and sofa bed as well, so slightly larger. Place to hang clothes, but no closet as per older hotels. House cleaning did an excellent job. Bathroom large and quite nice. The good: Employees we dealt with were uniformly nice! Helped us with local restaurants, advice on touring, etc. The cafe had great coffee, a modest happy hour for wine and beer, and very nice "grab and go" sandwiches and salads. The less good: We were hoping for a bucket of ice each day, but one had to go to the downstairs cafe and there, a large plastic cup (or two or three) were offered at no charge, but water and soda had to be bought down there too, as no vending machines on the floors. (Two free small bottles of water on the first day, then tap water or buy some...) Overall, I WOULD definitely recommend the Riu Plaza Times Square! 4.5 stars!

One of my rooms had blackout curtains that could not open or close. The engineer came up right away to work on them, but wasn’t able to make them function, which was all right once we just pulled them back. And a broken facial mirror hanging down from the wall next to the sink other than that just a few things looked a little beaten up in that room. My second room was better. I very much enjoyed the stay and the rooftop was beautiful the location suited visiting Times Square and Broadway well with walking taking 10 to 15 minutes.

It was fine. The rooms were clean the staff was kind.

Great room size for the City, so convenient for ferry (right across eye street), Seaport, & Subway. Lovely amenities, great multipurpose laundry (free to use) & game room

Great rooms are fantastic. And the staff is very nice.
