Aging accommodation, frequented by locals wanting to use the pool and nearby lake. Breakfast is coffee and a small commercial cupcake. My room had no tissues or water cup. But it's inexpensive.

The units are small renovated apartments. They are clean and nice decorations. However there was no toilet paper and when I texted the number I had used to get our keyless entry info I received no response. There was shower gel in the corner of the bathroom but no shampoo. Not was there a top sheet in the bed only a comforter. It did serve our needs for the 2 nights we were there.

Exterior needs a lift. Pool and hot tubs outdated and dirty. View and location was the best value.

run down, dirty, toilet paper stuffed into cracks under doors in the bathroom, clogged bathroom drain, air conditioner worked on and off, pool under construction, free breakfast was a granola bar in the lobby, the smoke alarm base was in the wall, but missing the actual smoke alarm. Brought concerns to front desk staff and she took pictures from my phone that I took and walked away and never returned to discuss the situation only said I should have called the maintenance person. I would never return or recommend to anyone.

If you prefer to be away from the hustle & bustle, this place is for you. My husband & I stayed at Stonecliffe for 5 days & we would not consider any other hotel on the Island. The grounds are immaculate & spacious. Nice restaurants, walking trails, bike rentals, a General Store. We stayed in The Mansion & our room was beautifully comfortable. We highly recommend Stonecliffe for your Island stay.
