The room passed the field day cleaning test. Fixtures were all dust free. Bathroom, sink, & frig we’re all clean. A lot of options were present for breakfast!! There were renovations taking place so areas were closed off. Workers started early to avoid the heat. Our room with the King size bed appeared to be newly updated. Beside the work being done, everything was excellent. It’s awesome for a short stay in the area.

The room smelled as soon as we walked in and felt really dirty. We stayed the night and had ants all over our stuff in the morning. We went to use the pool but it didn't open until 3 pm that day. We went to sit in the courtyard but they didn't have any cushions for the metal chairs. The staff told me it's due to people stealing them and they get weathered. I start looking around the courtyard and notice how unkempt the property was and it was extremely run down. I see black trash bags thrown behind the trees. The staff was fine but dressed like they just got out of bed. I called Expedia and requested a cancellation and checked out immediately and found another place to stay.

Beautiful view of the lake. Alot of outdoor seating and huge fire pit! Very clean room, comfy beds, staff friendly and helpful

The home was very Victorian. Absolutely beautiful. Each breakfast was at least 3 courses and very delicious. The chef was friendly and made changes or gave us what we needed. The whole house was very clean and neat. We would definitely stay here again!!

The staff was extremely friendly and catered to any needs we had. One person working the desk went above and beyond for us but I didn't catch her name. The hotel definitely needs a lot of updates. The bath tub was leaking in the room I stayed in. The rooms were just outdated in general.

There were multiple things wrong to the point where I had to leave after 24 hours. A stranger was given my room, key and allowed to walk in my room while I was sleeping at midnight. No apologies were made. Nothing was said by management. Water pressure was terrible The furniture was broken The lift was broken and no one offered to assist with multiple bags during check-in no concern over safety

I was told I could not get Holiday Inn credits for my stay because I booked my stay using a third party (Expedia). Is this true?
