Old Chatham Vacation Packages

We requested an accessible room, however we were told that there would be only 1 bed. I guess whoever designed these rooms has no idea what it is like to travel with a disabled person. Each need their own bed. So we decided to take a room with 2 beds that wasn't considered accessible. The entry way was very tight to accommodate luggage, a walker and the luggage trolley. In the bathroom the toilet was so low it was extremely difficult for a disabled person to use. No grab bars, poor lighting, my husband ended up falling in the night and scraping his forehead. Mattresses were very uncomfortable, carpet looked stained. When we asked for a new mattress we were told we would have to change rooms. This was too much work for us so we stayed, and would there be any guarantee that the other room had better mattresses?

This was a last-minute booking for us and we were so glad that we found it! It is right downtown and everything is walkable. Lots of great restaurants and cafés nearby. And the hotel itself is fantastic. The rooms are nice and very clean. And the main sitting area is amazing! Staff were super friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely stay here again.

what a beautiful and special place! Theres a fantastic pool for kids/family overlooking the beautiful lake. I wish we were able to stay longer. It was really one of the most beautiful places I have stayed. The Cabin lodging, the rooms, the bathrooms, everything was just great! Check out is at 10am, I wish it was maybe till noon for what you pay for but I understand because the cabins need to be cleaned. It was great!

The most convenient part of our stay was the complimentary shuttle to and from SPAC/downtown. This made our stay extremely hassle free. The casino, pool and fire pit areas were also wonderful and maintained. We would recommend and stay again.

The motel is old and run down. The beds were not comfortable and the furniture was outdated and in bad shape. The lamp didn’t work and bathroom tripped the breaker. The room although old and dingy was clean except for the fake nails left behind on the floor. The doors use a code which is given by the office and you do not choose, this was very unnerving but everything was fine during our stay. We had to request TP since we only had a half roll for two grown women but the cleaning lady was very apologetic and helpful. Bottom line is you get what you pay for…a cheap motel at a cheap price. The owner seems to have multiple properties that seem so much nicer so maybe he will put in the effort to fix the place up.

This property is clean and nicely located away from busy traffic. The lobby and all areas of this hotel were clean and well maintained. The breakfast was good and appealing(not over done). I would definitely stay here again. My only complaint is the vacuuming early in the mornings. It didn’t really bother me, but If you’re trying to sleep in it could be bothersome.
