Upon arriving at the location, it was readily apparent that it was in poor condition, and a very old property. Also not any nearby amenities. So we decided not to check-in. I attempted to contact Hotels.com to cancel our reservation, but unable to make a connection.

The hot tub and pool were great! Not a lot of seating so if it's busy you'll want to want to bring a towel to cushion the concrete.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The building is old and somewhat rundown. There are some nice amenities including ice water, snacks for purchase and a bar/restaurant. My kids enjoyed using the indoor pool and hot tub. There was a car race going on at the park next door. The cars were still racing ...

Best Western Visalia Hotel
As expected but the walkin shower could be a slipping disaster. I am tall and thevspray from thevtop of my head extended to the toilet. I had to whip down the floor with two towels to avoid a wet floor when using the bathroom.

Very good experience, excellent food and service at the restaurant. Only one item detracted from an excellent experience, the bath towels were rough, for this type of hotel, I expected top of the line towels.
