The hotel was both wonderful and perfectly located in Winters. It’s a small town with everything in walking distance. The staff was helpful and we were allowed to check-in early since the room was ready. One night in Winters was a wonderful experience.

This place was such a gem! We had a river view room - keep in mind you will hear seals all day and all night, which we absolutely loved. The hotel does provide complimentary ear plugs in your room for just this reason. Upon arriving we were given two complimentary drink vouchers for the bar. The bar was really cool with comfortable bar seating and outdoor seating. The rooms aren’t huge, but my husband is 6’2” and got around just fine. The shower size worked for him and, even though small, had instant hot water and great pressure. The toilet flushes with a pull string, which I found whimsical.

The place is great Problem was our room had a bad stench of iodine. Made us nauseous Was hard to get the staff to understand until they came up into the room then they put a fan in the room which didn’t work. Manager finally moved us and was going to give us a discount which did not happen!
