It was great! So clean and everyone was so nice

Everything is just great! Historical building, staff-owners, clean- bright-well mantain-big room, walking distance to downtown and beach, parking, price, BBQ area-all what you need for a perfect vacation!!!!!!!

We booked the Montague Inn for our 30 th anniversary and were excited to stay in a historical Inn. However when we arrived we were told our room was in the carriage house…am overhauled garage type building 200 feet from the Inn. We asked for a room in the actual Inn we were told it was an upgrade. We were totally shocked and disappointed. We should have been aware of what we were booking. This seems like false advertising and would like some type of reimbursement for this. The staff were excellent and the hot breakfasts were delicious. The grounds were well kept and beautiful. Our only complaint is the accommodation.

We rented the room with expectations of have a fridge. I have been requesting one and 7 days later no fridge. They keep saying they will get one. Wouldn’t even give us a discount on the 2nd week. This will be it. They absolutely suck and like to give lip service. Not a good place. The managers are completely rude and lie. Totally unacceptable and I am wanting to talk to the owner.

old place nicely kept

Quaint little place. It is my go to place when coming to Chesaning for family gatherings.
