There was never any facility available!? When we arrived via GPS, could not contact anyone or see any evidence of a room and/or cabin for us to stay in? Phone posted on a door was not in service.

The room was perfect for what I needed. Large comfortable king bed, nicely updated. It was extremely convenient to get downtown if you have a car. Literally like 4 minutes. The owners are also very responsive to messages which was very nice! A couple of small complaints were the WiFi was not very good — could stream the tv off and on. Also the key code was broken and door was very hard to open/shut. I was told it would be fixed but it never was during my stay. Once the door is fixed, this is an absolute 10/10 stay!

You would never know this Inn is well over 100 years old. The Colonial Inn has been very well maintained and updated but still has that century old charm. Our A/C worked amazingly great during a very hot weekend. The staff , the breakfast , the room and the grounds were all excellent!

Clean room. Great restaurant. Rooms are a bit small and the amenities are limited but great relaxing stay.

Great room and property. Loved the beach area. I’m sure some would say it’s dated but it was clean. Well stocked and friendly staff. Definitely going to return

The lobby and breakfast areas were under refurbishment. No problem. But, the problem arose the next morning when I noticed there was an uncovered electrical outlet, clearly exposing its chalky dry wall within 4-6 inches of the slot of toaster! Basically, when the toast would be expelled upon toasting, it would shoot up inext to this open construction zone of dry wall dust! YIKES! I can't imagine the State of Michigan Health codes, standards for food service or construction codes would condone this?!
