Round Island Vacation Packages

This motel (motels.com ??) qualifies as "quaint" in a good way. We had room #1, and it was very clean. The furnishings were comfortable, the bathroom and shower were nice. There were twice as many outlets as walls (OK, slight exaggeration). In general, with this motel I would say "no complaints". In reality, there's always complaints, but I'm going to label these as "imperfections". No bucket for the ice (we used the coffee pot). We could have asked for one, but just didn't bother. No hook for towels close to the shower (Monarch, if you're reading this, consider that a suggestion). Short as it was, we enjoyed our stay very much.

There is no use upgrading to a room with a balcony because there is no good view. They are also shared balconies & very dated. Staff was very friendly & good location.

The overall property is nice and good location. Easy shuttle to Arnold and Sheplers dock. The restaurant is nice and tasty. The breakfast is good and the view is amazing. Some rooms are remodeled and look good and feel clean if remodeled.

Room was big but beds pretty tight by the wall. Location was great. Bathroom needed work: door was binding, floor felt like it was giving way, bad dark spot by tub floor, not sure if black mold but it wasn’t good. Tv/internet was down but it was down all over the night we stayed. Nice to have coffee maker in the room. Bed was comfy, it was quiet (Weds. Eve). Staff let us stay parked there while we went to Mackinac Island. We would stay again.
