Odd smell in room. Ac did not work in first room. They moved us and everything was good. Inexpensive lodging. Would use again.

The room was clean, quite and comfortable

I just want to give everybody a heads up on this place. Do not use a third-party app to try and book a stay here. They will refuse your reservation and say it is not valid. They do not have a pool that is working, TVs aren't programmed, and the breakfast is very limited. and half the property is under construction and running under a different name. The hotel concierge was rude and disrespectful, and I do not recommend this hotel. Stay at your own risk!

I always stay there when I visit my kids and sisters. It’s alway easy check in/out. Clean. Friendly and about $50 cheaper a night than the nearby hotels. I’ve stayed at the others and honestly Travelodge has them beat. No complaints whatsoever

I needed to stay in the Kalamazoo/Portage area for 3 nights. I booked just my first night at this hotel to make sure I liked it. First night was great, I loved it! Clean with lots of amenities and a comfy bed. I then decided to book my next two nights. I ended up in room 306, which was a bummer, because the elevator was broke (not their fault, I understood this). But, when I entered the room late that night the smell of wet dog hit me and the carpet was very damp. I decided not to go back downstairs and complain because it seemed like they didn’t have any other rooms and of course the elevator situation. When I went to work the next day I left the air at a very low temp and the bathroom fan on in hopes it would smell better. It didn’t.
