Shiner Vacation Packages

I checked in rather late, but reception was friendly. Check in was quick and easy. When I got into the room the smell was over powering it smelled damp and moldy. The air conditioning unit wasnt cooling that well, the room was clean, and the appliances worked as they should. Bathroom had clean towels, and shampoo, conditioner and body soap were available in the shower In the dispensers. The temperatures in the hallway was really hot. Other than those issues it was ok. Someone should try to maintain the landscaping outside, at first I thought the property was abandoned.

Everything we needed was here. Great location if you have a family. We stayed in the suite and it was roomy. We were close to coffee and food. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We will DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN

Check in was terrible. It took almost an hour for the clerk to check me in. As soon as I got my room, I went down to the pool area for the hot tub. The water in the "hot" tub was cold. I never could get it hot. When I reserved my room, I elected to pay the rate that includes breakfast. The first morning they charged me for my breakfast, and I had to straighten that out at check out. Everything about the place is CHEAP. The flooring, the furniture, the wall decorations, the fixtures, etc. All cheap stuff. I had small bugs crawling around on my bathroom sink counter both days. The pool water was way too cold for an older person such as myself. The TV sound was throttled so that I couldn't turn up the volume high enough to hear what was being said. This looked like the best place to stay in Victoria. Now I sincerely doubt that. I'm a Hilton Honors Member. Hilton should be ashamed.

We always stay here now when we visit Port Lavaca. The manager is always friendly and remembers us when we do stay.

The rooms were spacious and clean
