Very dirty and filthy hotel room. When I arrived with my kid, they were fully booked and didn’t have a room ready for me even though I booked and paid for the reservation. The cleaning staff directed me to a very dirty room, someone was staying in it and they decided to put me in it. The bath tub was not cleaned, toilet was very messy, no clean bed linens were available, and the pillows were very flat and smell like human body odour and sweat. A staff tried to clean the bathroom but he gave up because the cleaning supplies he was using was not cleaning the place properly. I went back to front desk and they apologized but they said they can’t change the room because they are fully booked. They said my reservation should never went through because they are booked to capacity. Locals from the area are living in the hotel, they look very sketchy and unapproachable. Don’t go to this hotel even if you are desperate. It is a very sketchy neighborhood, all you hear is police sirens all day and all night. The hotel allow short stay for 1 hour to 4 hours if you want, cameras are not everywhere on the property. Staff are very unprofessional too, and their customer service is poor. The rooms don’t have microwave or working refrigerator. Be prepared to be inconvenient. It is approximately 14 minutes walk from the Jamaica station/179 street subway.
