stayed for a weekend. On Saturday we went down to breakfast with 30 min to go. Food was almost gone and saw nobody monitoring the food. We did see a lady at 10 when it closed. My mom asked for a glass of milk, she very rudely told my mom breakfast closed at 10. I let her know that we had been down there for 30 min and no eggs, only enough milk for 1 of us to have a 1/2 bowl of cereal. We saw nobody to help us. The lady walked away from me. I did go to the desk and let the desk know. I am not sure we would stay there again. We also ate at the bar restaurant and food was ok but little pricey.

We stayed in heart of Alpena near where our son lives. The location was perfect, as we could get around quickly. The morning complementary breakfast was out of this world. Fresh fruit, eggs, biscuits and gravy, cereal, yogurt, fresh pancakes too. Hot drinks like coffee, hot tea hot chocolate or just hot water was available 24/7. The staff was very accommodating. We were not ready to leave our room so the girl came back . An inconvenience to her but great for us. This was a great family experience.
